HERE IS HOW THEY WORK:
The 03 Shocker bolts are made from Air Craft Quality Aluminum and are hard anodized. The reason for this is to keep them light to up your rate of fire. But unlike the stock Delrin Bolt ours will not scratch under normal use.

The 03 Shocker Bolts come with better replacement o-rings.

They alleviate many of the common current problems: Stops air leaks down barrel, Helps reduce shot up and shot down problems. Increases gas efficiency, and gives better accuracy.
